ASTRAEA

The Goddess of Justice, Purity and Precision in Greek Mythology. Her name meant star-maiden“ and she carried the thunderbolt of Zeus – the implement of divine justice.

Astraea’s abilities and powers are excellence, learning, purity, justice, knowledge, reason and innocence. Her symbols are the stars. The Greek Goddess motivates fairness and virtue. She empowers our abilities, especially when we feel inadequate to the task. Astraea encourages a balanced quest for excellence with moderation.

Astraea was the last of the immortals to live with humans during the Golden Age of Man. When the Iron Age dawned, bringing along misery and wickedness, Astraea abandoned Earth and ascended to heaven. Zeus, then, set her amongst the stars as the constellation Virgo. According to the legend, Astraea will one day return to Earth, bringing with her an end to human suffering and the return of the Golden Age.
